On the inner front left tail is the Rawlings manufacturer’s tag size “44” with wash instructions. Adjacent to the right are two white strip tags reading “T” and “17” embroidered in blue. Attached to these is a flag tag reading “SET 1 1988”. On the right sleeve is a “Rawlings” logo embroidered in white. Across the chest reads “Mets”. Adjacent below and on back is the player number “17”. Across the back is the player name “HERNANDEZ” which has been professionally restored. All lettering and numbering is done in blue on orange tackle twill. The captain’s “C” has been removed from the upper left chest. Hernandez signed the front of the jersey in blue marker and in our opinion the signature rates a 9. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
