Diego Maradona is regarded as the top footballer of the 1980s and one of the greatest of all time. Renowned for his ability to control the ball and create scoring opportunities for himself and others, he led club teams to championships in Argentina, Italy, and Spain, and he starred on the Argentine national team that won the 1986 World Cup. Presented is one of Maradona’s jerseys from the 1987 Copa America Tournament with Argentina. Attached to the inside collar is the “Lecoqsportif” manufacturer’s tag size “44” with washing instructions. On the left chest is the Argentina “AFA” team logo crest and on the right chest reads “lecoqsportif”. Across the back is the player number “10” in white. Originally sourced from the Maradona family, this jersey is accompanied by a LOA from David Eduardo Albornoz Lobos which in part reads “The shirt was made available to me by the Argentine senior collector Ariel Gonzales who obtained this shirt from Maradona’s ex-wife in Buenos Aires”. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
