Hall of Famer and six time NBA Champion Michael Jordan had his second NBA season cut short when he broke his foot in the third game of the year, causing him to miss 64 games. Presented is the only known game-used jersey from Jordan’s second season. On the front left tail of the jersey is the Rawlings manufacturer's tag size "44" with washing instructions. On the left inseam there is an additional Rawlings flag tag that reads “ADULT 44 MADE IN USA” and “100% NYLON”. Across the chest of the jersey reads "BULLS" screened on in red on black. Below and on the back is the player number “23” in red on black applied with heat pressed vinyl. The player name "JORDAN" is across the back in red also applied with heat pressed vinyl. This jersey was previously sold in a Heritage Auction and out of an abundance of caution was listed as game-issued. We believe that the jersey does in fact show appropriate wear given all things considered. The jersey shows yellowing to the body presumably from sweat, light stressors to the fabric seams and softness from laundering. This is the only second year Jordan home jersey that we have ever seen. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows appropriately light but definite wear.
