As a top 50 player, George "Iceman" Gervin was one of basketball's most electrifying and scintillating players. Gervin is one of only three players in NBA history to win four or more league scoring titles (1978, 1979, 1980, 1982). On the front left tail of the jersey is the Rawlings manufacturer's tag size "44" with washing instructions. On the left inseam there is an additional Rawlings flag tag that reads “ADULT 44 MADE IN USA” and “100% NYLON”. Across the chest of the jersey reads "BULLS" screened on in red on black. Below and on the back is the player number “8” in red on black applied with heat pressed vinyl. The player name "GERVIN" is across the back in red also applied with heat pressed vinyl. There is an evident number and name change on the front and back, originally number “22” that belonged to Rod Higgins. Higgins was waived the same day that Gervin was traded to the Bulls right before the 1985 season and Gervin was given his jersey which was changed to number “8”. Outline of the previous number “22” is evident in game photos that were taken from the opening game of the 1985 season. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used, and in our opinion shows outstanding use. Accompanied by a LOA from Photo-Match.com confirming the match.
