Across the chest reads “Astros” and beneath is the team’s “star” logo done in blue on white tackle twill. Across the back on an off-white colored nameplate is the player name “DAVIS” in blue tackle twill that has been restored. Beneath this is the player number “27” in blue on white tackle twill. In the rear waistband of the pants is the Goodman & Sons manufacturers tag size “35” with washing instructions. Adjacent to the right is a strip tag reading “DAVIS 35-24” embroidered in black. Handwritten on this tag in period faded black marker is the number “42”. Team piping is down the sides. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
