Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt was a twelve time All-Star, ten time Gold Glove Award winner, World Series Champion and won the NL MVP three times. This Adirondack manufactured MS20 model bat is attributed to the 1983 World Series. The bat measures 35 inches and weighs 33.6 ounces. The ash wood bat with a flame burned finish shows excellent use with a handle crack. Several ball marks and stitch impressions are visible throughout the barrel. The model number, order number and year are stamped into the knob. Schmidt’s player number “20” is written on the knob in black marker. Schmidt signed the barrel in black marker and in our opinion rates a 9. Accompanied by a PSA/DNA LOA, an ALOA from JSA and a LOA from former player and teammate of Schmidt’s Al Holland attributing the bat to the World Series.
