Johnny Pesky left his mark on the game of baseball forever in Boston, as the right field foul pole is named, “Pesky’s Pole”. On the front left tail is the Wilson manufacturers tag size “42” with washing instructions. Adjacent below is a box tag reading the year “82” embroidered in black chain stitching. Across the chest reads “RED SOX” and on the back is the number “6”. All numbering and lettering is done in red on navy blue tackle twill. In the rear waistband of the pants is the Wilson manufacturers tag size “32” with washing instructions. Adjacent to the left is a strip tag reading “6 22” and adjacent to the right is a strip tag reading “82” both embroidered in black chain stitching. Handwritten on the front inside waistband is the number “6” in period faded black marker. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as coaches-worn and shows wear. Accompanied by a Pesky family LOA.
