A two-time MVP and perhaps the best catcher in major league history, Johnny Bench led the league in HRs twice and RBIs three times. His Cincinnati Reds dominated the NL in the 1970s winning four pennants and back-to-back world championships in 1975-76. On the inside front right tail is the Rawlings manufacturers tag size “44” with washing instructions. Attached is a flag tag reading “SET 1 1982”. On the left chest is the Reds team logo embroidered in white on red tackle twill. On the right chest and on the back is the player number “5”. Across the back is the player name “BENCH”. These all are done in red tackle twill. There are post-use fabric holes that have been repaired on the front and back but the jersey displays well. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
