Hall of Famer John Stallworth was an all-conference receiver out of Alabama A&M, and was part of the historic 1974 NFL draft where the Steelers drafted four future Hall of Famers. Stallworth was the embodiment of the tough Steelers’ persona, stoically working through an endless stream of injuries to help Pittsburgh win four Super Bowl championships. On the front left tail of this black durene jersey is the Medalist Sand-Knit manufacturer’s tag size “44”. Adjacent is a box tag reading the year “82” and above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the PITTSBURGH STEELERS” tag. The player number “82” appears on the front, back and on both shoulders in white tackle twill. Across the back on a black nameplate is the player name “STALLWORTH” in yellow tackle twill. Stallworth signed the back of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion rates a strong 8. On the back of the jersey is a Steelers hologram serial number “1588”. Multiple repairs are present including a large one on the front. This jersey is sans the Steelers patch on the upper left chest. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA and a Steelers LOA.
