In the 1981-82 season, The Great One scored 92 goals (career high), recorded 212 points and was awarded the Hart Ross Trophy. This is a TITAN TPM stick that is stamped ‘FEB 2 1982’. The handle is taped and player number (99) is handwritten below in black marker. Stamped below that is ‘W. GRETZKY’. The blade is taped, with a portion on the face missing. ‘WG’ is penned on the heel of the blade. Gilbert Perreault has signed in weak pen on the lower part of the stick and Gretzky has signed in weak pen further up the shaft, in our opinion rating 4-5. This stick is properly marked, presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use, with stick and puck marks. Our consignor has advised that this stick was originally acquired from a team trainer. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
