Rod Carew was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1991. Carew was elected an All-Star in every year of his career besides his last. He won the 1967 AL Rookie of the Year and the 1977 AL MVP award. The seven-time AL batting champion made was elected to 18 All-Star games. On the front left tail is a “W.A. Goodman & Sons” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Across the chest reads “ANGELS”. Player number “29” appears on both the front and on the back. Across the back reads player name “CAREW”. All numbering and lettering are done in the same red on navy blue tackle twill. sewn directly onto the grey jersey. On the left sleeve is a state of California logo patch. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
