On the front left tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with size “42” and wash instructions. On the inner rear collar is a grey strip tag with “Nettles 80 1” in navy blue chain-stitching. Across the front reads “NEW YORK”. Across the back is the player number “9”. All lettering and numbering is done in the same navy blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a black armband commemorating the death of former player Thurman Munson who died in a tragic plane crash mid-season. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
