The New York Yankees did not let the fact that they were guided by three different managers in 1978 distract them. The Bronx Bombers captured their second consecutive World Series title in '78 despite a managerial revolving door that included Billy Martin, Dick Howser, and Bob Lemon. The 1978 postseason was strangely similar to 1977 for the Yanks, who defeated the Kansas City Royals and Los Angeles Dodgers in the playoffs for the second year in a row. Offered here is a replica World Championship Trophy that reads "Presented With Sincere Thanks To Our Friend And Partner Anheuser-Busch, Inc. By The New York Yankees". The threads have been stripped from the pewter ball on the inside of the trophy. Some of the flags for all 26 MLB teams in existence at the time have been reattached. The trophy features a ring with a crown on top at the center. This trophy is in EX condition.
