The 1977 Cotton Bowl matched the Fightin Irish of Notre Dame against the Longhorns of Texas. Notre Dame's strength and ability on both sides of the ball proved to be too much for Texas as the Irish rolled 38-10. This "Hutch" leather panel football has been signed by over 60 members from that 1977 National Champions Team. The Irish had many All-Americans and award winners on the squad and they're all represented here. Autographs include: Joe Montana, Ross Browner, Bob Golic, Luther Bradley, Ernie Hughes, Willie Fry, Ted Burgmeier, Dave Huffmann, Ken MacAfee and head coach, Dan Devine. All the autographs appear in black pen with some autographs more faded than others. The signatures range from 5-9.
