On the front right tail is a “Rawlings” size “40” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. Attached adjacent is a flag tag that reads, “SET 1 1977”. On the inside of the rear collar fold is a strip tag with, “39 77 11” embroidered on it in blue chain-stitching. Across the chest reads, “Mets” and the player number “11” appears on both the front and on the back. All numbering and lettering is done in blue on orange tackle twill sewn directly onto the white pinstripe jersey. Below the back player number, Randle signed the jersey in black pen with the added inscription, “MVP NY Mets 1977 Game Used!!” and in our opinion, rates a 7-8 overall. On the left sleeve is the team’s, “Mets” logo disc patch embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
