Jimmie Reese was Babe Ruth’s roommate for two seasons in the early 1930s and was a mentor to Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan. On the front left tail is a “W.A. Goodman & Sons” size “42” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. On the inside of the center tail reads, “Jimmy Reese 1977” penned in an unknown hand. Across the chest reads, “Angels” and the player number “50” appears on both the front and on the back. All numbering and lettering are done in red on navy blue tackle twill sewn directly onto the jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as coaches-worn and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
