New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner gifted this "2nd Place Champs" rings to the Boston Red Sox as the Yankees ultimately won the World Series. The size "10" ring weighs 29 grams and features a Red Sox "B" logo on the face with a red stone. Around the face reads "BOSTON RED SOX 2ND PLACE CHAMPS". The left shank reads "SHIELDS" with a batter beneath and on the right shank reads "1977" also with a batter beneath. Engraved inside the band is "Palladium Plus".
