The 1978 NBA Finals featured the Seattle Supersonics and Washington Bullets. The series went seven games and in the seventh game with less than 90 seconds left Paul Silas got a tip-in for Seattle to cut the Bullets lead to 101-99. Silas then fouled Wes Unseld, a 55-percent shooter from the line during the playoffs. He hit two free throws, and Washington sealed the thriller after 105-99. Silas ultimately was a three-time NBA champion, five-time NBA All-Defensive Team and a two-time All-Star.
