Hall of Famer Frank Robinson is in the storied “500 Home Run” club after clubbing 586 home runs. Throughout his career he would go on to win two World Series Championships and is the only player to be named MVP in both leagues, 1961 with Cincinnati and 1966 with Baltimore where he also won the triple crown. In 1975, Robinson made more history becoming the first black manager in Major League Baseball as a player/manager with the Cleveland Indians. In the rear below the collar is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “42” with washing instructions. On the front left tail is a box tag reading the year “76”. On the left sleeve is the Indians team logo patch and on the right sleeve is the “CLEVELAND SPIRIT OF ‘76 patch. Across the chest reads “INDIANS” and on the back is the player/manager number “20”. These are done in white on navy blue tackle twill. Across the back is the name “ROBINSON” in white tackle twill sewn directly into the jersey. Inside the rear waistband of the pants is the Wilson manufacturer’s tag size “35” with washing instructions. Adjacent is a white strip tag reading “20 35 26 76” embroidered in navy blue chain stitching. An additional number “29” is handwritten inside the right pocket in black marker. This uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from Photo-Match.com grading the jersey a perfect 10.
