A 17 time All-Star, Pete Rose remains one of the greatest players of all time. In the 75 All Star game Rose hit a sacrifice fly to drive in one of the runs that would help the National League claim victory. This bat was used by Rose during that game. The 35inch, 32 ounce, model R195 Louisville slugger shows moderate use with ball and stitch marks evident on the barrel. There is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. The bat has a unique, oversized centerbrand that a Louisville Slugger representative has confirmed as an experimental model. The bat was consigned to us by the bat boy at the game, who obtained the bat directly from Charlie Hustle. It is accompanied by a letter from him as well a picture of himself seated with the team. The larger logo was used by Hillerich & Bradsby for more television exposure in a nationally televised game.
