ESPN’s critically acclaimed 30 For 30 series produced an episode named, Untucked, which covered the uniqueness and impact of jersey’s worn by the Marquette University's men's basketball team. The team was coached by Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee Al McGuire, who let current player (and art major) Bo Ellis design the offered jersey. The jersey would later be banned by the NCAA. The documentary is an, “...exploration into the history of the (Marquette) jersey provid(ing) insight on Ellis and McGuire, the power of uniforms, the correlation between sports and fashion, and the benefits of a creative environment, which allowed a Championship team to flourish.” This Bo Ellis’ jersey is the one worn and featured in the aforementioned documentary. Ellis designed this jersey himself. On the inside below the rear collar is a “Sand-Knit” size “40” manufacturer’s tag with washing instructions. The player number “31” appears on both the front and on the back. Below the front player number reads, “MARQUETTE” and below the rear play number reads, “WARRIORS”. All numbering and lettering are screen-printed in yellow on the light blue jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
