Hall of Famer Dan Issel played basketball for the Kentucky Colonels of the ABA. In his first season, he led the ABA in scoring with a scoring average of 29.9 points per game, and pulled down 13.2 rebounds per game. He was named the ABA Rookie of the Year in 1971, and was selected to the All-ABA Second Team. In 1975, Issel won an ABA title with the Colonels wearing this jersey both during the Championship season and playoffs. On the front right tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturers size 44 tag. Attached is the “4” LONGER” tag. Across the front is "KENTUCKY." Below on front and on back is the player number “44." Across the back is the player name "ISSEL." All lettering and numbering is done in white on red tackle twill. The jersey shows good game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from Dan Issel, stating this jersey was worn in the regular season, playoffs, and the championship series.
