Nike manufactured size “9.5” red, white and blue “Pre Montreal” track shoes from the infancy of Nike's history in Oregon. Shoes like these were some of the first made by Nike for track use and models like these were worn by the famous American track star of the time, Steve Prefontaine, who tragically passed away in an automobile accident at the young age of 24 in 1975. The original Nike box is included.
