During 27 minutes played during the 1973 NBA All-Star Game in Chicago, Nate “Tiny” Archibald scored 17 points, had 5 assists and a rebound. Archibald was named to the NBA 50 Greatest Players in 1996 and was enshrined in the Hall of Fame five years prior in 1991. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “40”. Across the front is “WEST”. Player number “10” appears on both the front and back. Player name “ARCHIBALD” appears across the back. All numbers and letters are done in red on blue tackle twill. There is some staining on front. There are two twill stars on both the front and back done in the same red on blue pattern. Beneath the inner waistband of the shorts is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “30”. The shorts have satin trim. Also included is a pair of matching stirrup socks and a pair of “Pro Keds” sneakers, red with black trim. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a letter of provenance stating how the jersey was sourced originally from a former owner of the Miami Heat.
