A twenty-four time All Star, "Hammerin Hank" Aaron remains one of the greatest players the game has ever seen. At the time of his retirement, he held an unbelievable 13 records including his remarkable 755 homeruns. The 1957 National League MVP, Aaron won three Gold Gloves during his 23 year career and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982. This 34.75 inch, 33.2 ounce, Hillerich & Bradsby model A99 bat shows the 1973-75 labeling period. It is uncracked and shows evidence of moderate game use with ball and stitch marks visible on the barrel. Aaron's jersey number "44" appears on the knob in faded black marker in the correct "open four" style that is common to authentic Aaron gamers. The bat has been signed in blue Sharpie and the signature rates a strong 8.
