Jones earned all-star honors during eight seasons in the American Basketball Association where he averaged 16.0 points while scoring over 10,000 points in 640 games. Jones played for the Oakland Oaks, New Orleans Buccaneers, Memphis Pros (1970-71), Dallas Chaparrals, Carolina Cougars, Denver Rockets and Spirits of St. Louis. Jones was a three time ABA All Star, shot 34% from three point range and never in his career had a technical foul called against him. This jersey has been attributed to Steve Jones #11. On the front left tail are the "Dave Cook Sporting Goods" two flag tags "42" and "1"L-B." Across the front is "DENVER." Below on the front and back is the player number "11." All lettering and numbering is done in purple on white tackle twill. The nameplate on the back of the jersey has been removed. In the back waistband of the shorts is the "Dave Cook Sporting Goods" size “34” flag tag. The uniform shows game-use and with the exception of the name removal, appears to have no alterations of any kind.
