One of the premier power hitters of all time Reggie Jackson hit 563 homeruns in a career that spanned three decades. Reggie began to show the skill that would make him one of the best and by 1969 he was in full swing, hitting 47 homeruns and driving in 118 while hitting .275. A remarkably consistent hitter, Jackson kept up the numbers and in 1969 he played in his first of 14 All-Star games. This Hillerich & Bradsby bat dates from that early period in his career, 1969-72. The 35.5 inch, 35 ounce K75 model bat shows evidence of great game use with pine tar on the handle, which also exhibits a slight handle crack. A vintage "9" appears on the knob and Jackson's 7+ signature appears on the barrel in black Sharpie.
