Led by manager Dick Williams and featuring a powerful line up that included the likes of Carl Yastrzemski, Elston Howard, Tony Conigliaro, Jim Lonborg, and Rico Petrocelli, the 1967 Boston Red Sox won 92 games and finished as American League Champions. Offered here is an OAL Cronin baseball that has been signed by 25 members of the team in blue ink. Signers include Dick Williams (sweet spot), Yastrzemski, Conigliaro, Howard, Seibern, Smith, Petrocelli, Scott, Doerr, Thomas, Adair, and others. The ball itself is a beautiful, even creamy white with the league stampings as dark as the day it was made. The signatures rate between 8 and 10 with the only slight flaw being that the ink on some has begun to seep into the leather. The ball is accompanied by the original mailing box that is postmarked Oct. 16, 1967 and is addressed to Tom Ferguson, then traveling secretary for the California Angels. Together the ball and box make for an incredible tribute the 67 AL Champs.
