Bart Shirley played in six games for the 1967 New York Mets and Bob Johnson played 90 games. On the front left tail is a “SPALDING” manufacturer’s tag and adjacent is a size “40” tag. Below is a tag with washing instructions. Attached adjacent is a flag tag that reads, “SET 1 1967”. On the inside rear collar is a white felt strip tag with, “40 67 6” embroidered on it in blue stitching. Across the chest reads, “Mets” and the player number “6” appears on both the front and on the back. All numbering and lettering is done in blue felt on orange tackle twill sewn directly onto the pinstripe home jersey. On the left sleeve is the team’s, “Mets” logo disc patch embroidered. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
