Knuckle-balling master reliever Hoyt Wilhelm appeared in more games (1070) than any other pitcher in major league history. He was also the first relief pitcher elected to the Hall of Fame. In the neck of the jersey is the "MacGregor" label and size "44." On the inside right front tail is the "MacGregor" label reading "Set 2 1964." Across the front of the jersey is "Chicago" and on the back is the name "Wilhelm." The letters are made of blue tackle twill. The name on the back has been restored. The player number "31" appears on the back of the shirt as well as on the right sleeve. The numbers are made of blue on white tackle twill. Included with the jersey are another player's pants. Inside the waistband is the "MacGregor" label with the size, "36." Next to this is the wash tag and adjacent to this is the "MacGregor" label reading "Set 1 1966." The name "Huff" is written in the waistband in black magic marker. Below the waistband is a white felt patch reading "11 36 27." The numbers denote the player number, waist size and inseam, respectively. The label has been done in red chain stitch. The jersey shows game-use and with the exception of the restored name on the back, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
