Inside the shell is the American Baseball Cap manufacturers sticker size “7 3-8”. The player number “7” is handwritten underneath the bill in black marker. Across the front is the Pirates “P” logo in yellow felt. There is heavy baseball related staining throughout the helmet and minor deterioration. We were told by our consignor that he obtained this helmet a week after the 1960 World Series from the team ball boy. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used attributed to Dick Stuart and shows use.
