Lou Jackson began his Major League baseball career in 1958 with the Chicago Cubs. In the neck of the jersey is a gray felt label reading "42-1959-4-42" denoting the size, year, set number and player number, respectively. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" label and size "42." Across the front of the jersey is the name "Chicago" and on the back is the player number "52." The name and number are made of blue on red felt. There has been a number change. The jersey shows game-use and with the exception of the number change, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
