Dick Johnson played for the Chicago Cubs during the 1958 season. It was his only season with the team. In the neck of the jersey is a white felt label reading "12-1958-1-40" denoting the player number, year, set number and size, respectively. The numbers are made of black chain stitch. On the left front tail is the "Wilson" label with the size "40" and below this is the wash tag. On the left breast is the red/white blue Cubs emblem. On the back of the shirt is the player number "33" which is made of blue felt. There has been a number change. The jersey shows game-use and with the exception of the number change, appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
