A seven-time World Series champion, Joe McCarthy is the New York Yankees all-time leader in managerial wins and has the highest winning percentage of all time by a manager. McCarthy was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1957. The front of the belt buckle has a color “Yankees” team logo in red, white, tan and blue. Engraved on the back of the belt buckle is Japanese writing and “1955”. This was presented to us as McCarthy’s personal belt buckle during the 1955 New York Yankees Tour of Japan and in our opinion, the face is in EX-NRMNT condition and the inside is well worn.
