Spalding manufactured official league baseball loaded with signatures from the 1955 World Series Champion Brooklyn Dodgers. The signatures cover the ball and are highlighted by Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Sandy Koufax, Walt Alston, Don Newcombe, Johnny Podres, Gil Hodges and many others. Stamped onto the ball is the date “ SEP 25 1955” and handwritten beneath Alston’s autograph on the sweet spot is “BROOKLYN DODGERS 1955”. The signatures are done in blue ink and in our opinion rate between 8-10. Duke Snider, Billy Loes, Pee Wee Reese and Carl Furillo CH. The ball is well toned and displays beautifully in NM condition. This is one of the most aesthetically pleasing 1955 Dodger balls we’ve had the pleasure of handling. Accompanied by a Full LOA from JSA.
