After coming up with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1949 Morrie Martin spent 10 years in the Major Leagues playing for 7 different teams in all. His years with the Athletics were among his best. In the neck of the jersey is the "Pearson" label and on the left front tail is the size tag "44" which is done in blue chain stitch. On the left breast is the Athletics "A" and on the back is the player number "26." Both the letter and number are made of blue felt. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
