Adjacent to the inside of the zipper path is a red felt swatch with “16” embroidered on it in white stitching. Mel Clark wore No. 16 for the Phillies from 1952-1955. On the inside below the rear collar is a “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with a size “44” flag tag attached. On the left chest is the team’s “P” logo in white felt sewn directly onto the red jacket. This jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as attributed to Mel Clark and in our opinion shows appropriate wear. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
