Created by Abe Saperstein in 1927 in Chicago, the Harlem Globetrotters are an exhibition basketball team that has become one of the best known sports entertainment franchises in the world. With a mix of athleticism and comedy, to date the Globetrotters have played more than 20,000 exhibition games in 118 countries, mostly against deliberately ineffective opponents. This Wilson Official Jet B1200 basketball has "Harlem Globetrotters" printed on one panel and was game-used by the 'Trotters in the 1950s. Ball is warmly toned and shows very nice use.
