Lot #26:

1950 Mel Allen’s Emmy Award

This bronze award measures 4” x 6” and was presented to Mel Allen in 1950. There is a plaque on front which reads “Academy of Radio & Television Best Arts & Sciences Inc.” A second plaque appears at the bottom which reads “Best Sportscaster – Radio-TV MEL ALLEN.” “1950” is etched between the plaques. It is in EX overall condition with some pitting.
