This original type 1 original photo depicting Satchel Paige photo was used in the Tribune Newspaper on July 7th, 1948. Handwritten on the back is “Paige” as well as “7440” and a small cutout that reads “TRIBD JUL 7 - 1948 Satchel Paige”.
