Superman and Batman were already big stars by the Spring of 1941, so putting them together on the Fred Ray cover of this classic issue must have seemed like a natural. The only issue of this title (by the next issue, the book would be renamed World's Finest Comics), this was 96 pages of non-stop action featuring Superman, Batman & Robin, The Crimson Avenger, Zatana, Johnny Thunder, and many others. This is a solid copy which exhibits the wear one would normally associate with the grade. As with most squarebound comics, it is difficult to find in high grade. Graded VG/FN 5.0 by CGC with off-white pages. A very respectable grade for this tough issue.
