Seventy-nine (79) “Manufacturer’s Trust Company” checks signed by American singer, actor, bandleader, and entertainer Rudy Vallée. All of the checks are from 1936, two from July 30, three from August 5, and 72 from August 6. The checks range in values from 55¢ to $1,000 (Rudy Vallée Orchestra), many in the amount of $40 to various individuals and companies. All of the checks are signed by Vallée in purple ink and the signatures, in our opinion, rate a strong 8 overall. The checks feature punch hole cancellation marks and various bank stamps. The collection of checks are in EX condition overall. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
