This item had the honor of being displayed in the New York Football Giants Legacy Club. Michael Strahan will be inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 2014. Strahan is fifth all-time in career sacks, has the season sacks record, was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2001 and won a Super Bowl championship. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag that reads “05-42”. On the v-neck is an “NFL EQUIPMENT” shield logo embroidered. Below is an “NY” logo embroidered in white stitching. On the left chest is a “WTM NY PRT” patch for the Giants’ late co-owners, Wellington T. Mara and Preston Robert Tisch. Player number “92” appears on the front, on the back and on both shoulders. Across the back reads player name “STRAHAN” on a blue nameplate. All numbering and lettering are done in the same white tackle twill. Below the player number on each shoulder is a “Reebok” logo embroidered. There are repairs throughout the jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows outstanding use.
