One of the rarest, and collectible, of all baseball items is the press pin. The press pins of the Philadelphia Athletics from the 1914 World Series are some of the rarest out there as it was only the fourth year the press pins were made especially for the World Series. The exterior of the pin reads “WORLD’S SERIES SHIBE PARK PHILADELPHIA 1914” engraved. The middle of the pin reads “BBWAA” engraved intertwined with two baseball bats sans ribbon. There is general surface wear apparent, but the elite rarity still presents very well.
