Brian Leetch was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009, his first year of eligibility. In 2017 Leetch was named one of the 100 Greatest NHL Players in history. Inside the back below the collar is the “STARTER” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent below is a white strip tag reading “52-R” with handwritten black equipment manager markings. Above is a tag reading “AUTHENTIC COLLECTION”. On the right inseam are two flag tags, one with washing instructions and one reading “MADE IN U.S.A. BY Ripon Athletic”. The set tag has been intentionally removed from the tail. Across the front of the jersey is the large Rangers team “Lady Liberty” logo. Across the back is “LEETCH” sewn directly onto the jersey. The player number “2” appears on both sleeves as well as the back of the jersey. All lettering and numbering is done in red on white on grey tackle twill. On both shoulders is the traditional “NEW YORK RANGERS” team logo patch. On the back right tail of the jersey are the embroidered “NHL” and “STARTER” logos. The fighting strap is intact with minor salting. Leetch signed the back of the jersey in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
