Walt Bellamy was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1962 after having arguably one of the greatest rookie seasons in NBA history. He ended his career with 20,941 points and 14,241 rebounds. He was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993 and was Willis Reed’s predecessor. On the front left tail is a size “48” box tag. Across the chest reads “NEW YORK”. Adjacent below and on the back is the player number “8”. These are done in orange on blue tackle twill. Across the back reads the player name “BELLAMY” in blue tackle twill. Mild staining is present inside the jersey and on the back however it displays beautifully sans a manufacturer’s tag. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use. Accompanied by a Photo-Match.com LOA confirming the match and grading the jersey a 9+.
