Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1987, Giacomin was one of the greatest Ranger goaltenders leading the league in shutouts in 1967, 1968 and 1971 and sharing the Vezina Trophy in 1971 as well. On the inner rear left tail is the “GERRY cosby” distributor’s tag with flag tag size “48”. Diagonally across the front reads “RANGERS”. Across the back is the player name “GIACOMIN”. Adjacent below and on each sleeve is the goalie number “1”. All lettering and numbering is done in blue on red tackle twill.
