Hall of Famer Jerry Rice is regarded as the greatest wide receiver in NFL history. Rice would retire after the 2004 season, ending his career as the holder of over 100 NFL records. He totaled 22,895 receiving yards and 197 total touchdowns, both still NFL records. Rice was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010, on his first ballot. Rice wore this gold Riddell size “7 1/2” helmet with the 49ers. Inside the left ear is a red piece of dymo tape reading “80 RICE”. The inside padding and chinstrap are intact. The 49ers team decal is on both sides of the shell and numerous hit marks and stains are present throughout. The facemask has been completely detached from the helmet and is also included. This helmet is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and shows wear.
