George "The Iceman" Gervin is one of the greatest shooting guards in NBA history, scoring over 25,000 career points. The nine-time All-Star made five All-NBA First Teams and led the NBA in scoring four times. Famous for his finger roll, Gervin has his No. 44 retired by the San Antonio Spurs, was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team, was named to the ABA All-Time Team and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1996. On the front left tail is a "RUSSELL ATHLETIC" size "44" manufacturer's tag with washing instructions On this tag, "+1" is written in black pen. Attached below is a materials flag tag. On the left inseam is a flag tag with, "1"EXTRA LENGTH". Across the chest reads, "SAN ANTONIO", the player number "44" appears on both the front and on the back and across the back reads the player name "GERVIN". All numbering and lettering are done in white tackle twill sewn directly onto the black mesh jersey. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use.
