In the rear sweatband of the cap is the New Era manufacturers tag. Adjacent are two tags, one reading the size “7 1-4” and “Authentic Collection”. The player number “5” is written underneath the bill in black marker. On the front of the cap is the Cardinals “STL” logo and on the left side is the American flag patch. Pujols signed the bill of the cap in silver marker and in our opinion the signature rates an 8. The cap shows sweat staining readily apparent and good game use. The red cleats with white and blue trim are nike manufactured size “12.5” promo samples. On the back of the cleats is a Pujols logo and above on the loop is a “Cross” embroidered. Embroidered on the outside ankles is the player number “5” in white on blue. The player name “PUJOLS” is embroidered on both tongues in red on navy blue. “WWJD” is embroidered on the outside toes in navy blue. Also included in this lot is a pair of red and white batting gloves with what appears to be the player number “5” handwritten on the top inside the Nike logo. There is heavy pine tar and use on the palms. This cap, cleats and batting gloves are properly tagged, were presented to us as game-used and show use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
